Union Street office

The firm has two offices in Kingston upon Thames, our Union Street office is situated in the street beside Boots, and beside "Fruiti Boost".  Our other office is on the High Street next to the River Thames and the other is a short 2 minute walk away in Union Street.  If unsure, please clarify which office you may have any of your meetings in.

Kingston is a successful metropolitan centre, which serves the borough as well as southwest London and northeast Surrey.  It is a very attractive centre, with its distinctive historic core around the Market Place and riverside setting.  It is a sub-regional shopping centre; a significant leisure destination, especially in the evenings.

Shopping

Kingston plays host to the biggest shopping centre in Greater London, which boasts all the high street names, and the indoor shopping centre Bentalls.  There is also a daily fruit and vegetable market within the Apple Market, which often has seasonal/specialist markets from French cuisine to arts and crafts.

The Rotunda is a round glass building opposite Kingston Station and is home to a new 16 screen Odeon Cinema, David Lloyd Fitness Centre and numerous restaurants including Pizza Express and Bill and Jerrys.  On the first floor is Old Orleans where cocktails during the happy hours of 5-7pm are a must (the Cosmopolitan comes highly recommended).

Pubs and Bars
There are dozens of fantastic bars, pubs and restaurants in Kingston, with most of them lining the riverside together with some luxury riverside apartments.

There is something for everyone in Kingston, traditional drinking wells include:

  • The Ram with an outside beer garden overlooking the River Thames
  • O’Neills which since its recent face lift is always a great place to drink and eat.  It has regular bands and on Fridays and Saturdays a late licence until 1am
  • Druids Head – in the heart of the Apple Market

The new riverside has also made way for modern bars such as Bar Ha Ha and Bar Casa.  For those who like to dance the night away there is the new club Oceana with 5 different bars and 3-dance areas all offering differing music to suit all tastes.

The Works has been part of the Kingston student nightlife for Kingston University for years and is still a great night out if you fancy a boogie to some old cheesy classics.  Bar Evissa has a cosy and intimate feel, and great dance tunes until 3am.

Restaurants

When it comes to eateries Kingston certainly has a lot to offer.

If it's fine food you want then you can’t go wrong with Frere Jacque a quaint French restaurant by the River looking out on to the Kingston Bridge.  It is possible to sit outside all year round thanks to the strategically placed outside heaters.  It has red and white checked tablecloths, great food and the odd authentic waiter.

Kingston also has favourites cuisines such as Italian, Carluccios and La Strada.  Chinese, Thai, Indian, and the usual suspects like Wagamama, Nandos and Gourmet Burger Kitchen.

Kingston also borders Hampton Court, home of the historic Hampton Court Palace, which is set in 60 acres of splendour and the infamous maze.  At Christmas they also have an ice rink, which is open to the public.
